When do foster parents have time to relax?
Foster parenting is a very demanding mission. It is important to counteract burnout and remember to rest.

The surrogate parent is entitled to leave under the terms of maternity leave (as well as additional leave under the terms of maternity leave). This entitlement is granted for no longer than until the child turns 7, and in the case of a child whose compulsory education has been postponed, for no longer than until the child turns 10.
Relatives and non-professional families
Professional families
Foster parents professional contracts are covered by a civil law contract
and they have a range of rights similar to that of employees. The foster parents are not entitled to traditional leave, but they are entitled to temporary non-custody of the child
(30 days a year). You are entitled to remuneration for this period.
The family is obliged to inform the organizer of family foster care about the date of rest - no later than 30 days before this date. The organizer of foster care at that time should organize the care of these children,
e.g. by using the help of the so-called support family.
Do foster parents have time for themselves?
The organizer of foster care, associations and foundations ensure (thanks to the help of volunteers) that foster parents can rest during the day - take children for walks, trips, do their homework with them, etc.
